Tell What Great Things God Has Done for You – She Declared to Him!

When was the last time you told your testimony? Not the nice testimony during the Sunday night service at church, but the testimony while sitting next to someone on the train or standing in the line at the grocery store – that testimony. Have you ever been sick, I mean really sick, and you said to God, “Lord, if you heal me, I’m going to run and tell it to everyone I know – even the ones I don’t know. God, please heal me.”

Again, here is the dilemma, what if the person who witnessed to you would have remained silent? What if the person who prayed for you would have remained quiet?

Luke 8:40-48

Wherever Jesus went, there was always a crowd, a multitude of folks trying to get close to touch Him, feel Him, and perhaps receive a miracle for themselves or a member of their family. This particular time, Jesus was on His way to a ruler of the synagogue’s house to ministry to the ruler’s daughter, but the crowd was holding Him up.

A woman was having problems with the flow of blood continuously for 12 long years, even though she had spent all of her money on doctors trying her best to get well. In my mind’s eye, I can only imagine that she saw the crowd and knew that Jesus was the reason for the crowd. She wasn’t even supposed to be out among the people, but she was desperate. How desperate are you for what God has for you

As he went, the multitudes thronged Him, and she came from behind and touched the border of His garment. And immediately her flow of blood stopped. Jesus asked, “Who touched Me?” Everyone denied it, and Peter and those with him said, “Master the multitudes throng You and you say, ‘Who touched me?’” But Jesus said, “Somebody touched Me, for I perceived power going out from Me.” Now, when the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling. Falling down before Him, she declared to Him in the presence of all the people the reason she had touched Him and how she was healed immediately. Jesus said to her, “Daughter, be of good cheer; your faith has made you well. Go in peace.”

Friend, when Jesus does for you what no one else can, and what no one else could do, surely you should declare of Him: tell it to all of the people in your sphere of influence! Your own multitude is waiting to hear what He has done for you! Don’t wait until the Sunday evening service to tell your fiery testimony! Tell your testimony in the highways and the by-ways what Christ has done for you.
